Think you understand Buyer Agency, find out

While we understand that Kiwi's are, by definition, DIY prone people we also think that buyers having the benefits of professional representation, is long overdue. In many countries, such as the United States and Canada, the vast majority buyers are represented by a Buyer's Agent. In other countries, including Australia and the U.K. Buyer Agency is rapidly gaining in popularity.

If you needed to appear in court and the "other side" had professional legal representation, you would no doubt seek such representation for yourself or anticipate a very painful outcome.

As your property represents the most significant purchase, you are likely to make, going DIY may often result in a fair amount of pain as well. We recommend avoiding the pain by understanding the benefits of using a "real" Buyer Agent and to help you get an accurate view of the issue, have provided a brief presentation in this regard.
